August 28, 2015: Set Phasers to Flip 3

Thanks so much to the 25 awesome pinheads who joined us for another fun evening of pinball! The unstoppable Jared Garvey took first place for the second time (for those keeping track at home, that means there are now at least *seven* spots in our open playoffs for players who earn the most points by attending multiple series tournaments), Andreas Haugstrup Pedersen finished second, and Mike Miller rounded out our top three. Novice champion went to J.r. McGonigle, who earned the title after a tough tiebreaker on Star Trek against Bella Gershtein.

As always, I am deeply grateful to everyone who makes these events possible - TJ Beyer, for putting all these great machines at Scarlet City and keeping them in such wonderful shape, Andy Kuntz for taking care of machine problems during the tournament, and of course Jen and Susanna from Scarlet City for hosting us and creating such a great space to play pinball. Thanks also to Scarlet City and the Pacific Pinball Museum for donating prizes for the event.

Full results from tonight below, and series standings are up-to-date on the event website: http://hellaheartpinball.com/phaserstoflip.html#standings.
